2009 Paris Motorcycle and Scooter Show |

PARIS MOTORCYCLE AND SCOOTER SHOW RESCHEDULED
The Paris Motorcycle and Scooter Show, initially pencilled in for 1 to 8 October 2009, has been rescheduled for autumn 2010 at Porte de Versailles, Paris, France.
Motorcycle manufacturers and AMC Promotion, the organiser of the Paris International Two-Wheel Show, which had instigated a new development strategy for the show, unanimously agreed that the troubled international economy would compromise the standards set, including the participation of all manufacturers to represent the sector as faithfully as possible.
Consequently, it would not be possible to cater satisfactorily to visitor expectations.
In a plenary session held on Monday, 11 May 2009, manufacturers unanimously:
1/ - asserted that the Paris Motorcycle and Scooter Show is a necessary international showcase for the business in the top European market,
2/ - reiterated their trust in the organiser and the new governance,
3/ - confirmed the strategy determined in 2008.
Consequently, the organiser, AMC Promotion, in agreement with manufacturers, decided to reschedule the Paris Motorcycle and Scooter Show for autumn 2010, in order to rapidly reassert the importance of the sector.
The organisers would like to thank those exhibitors having registered for the 2009 edition for their trust.
PARIS CYCLE SHOW CONFIRMED
The Paris Cycle Show will be taking place as planned, from 2 to 5 October 2009, in Hall 3, Porte de Versailles, Paris, France. To date over 300 brands have registered to take part in this major autumn get-together and showcase for the cycle industry.
